Add to cart button

The add to cart element says “Buy Now” and behaves like a buy now button redirecting a customer to the checkout page rather than adding it to a cart. That won’t work if they are shopping for more than one product.

Here is a video explaining what I’m running into.

  1. Hi Nathan.
Fluent looks for buttons and often changes what they do with script, so it can be difficult.
I’m confused by the button behaviour. I use fluent on this site, and my dev sites, and my ATC and BN work as they should. To combat the changing text, there are Smithy Factory->Fluentcart settings for button text. But the behaviour works for me?
Another option is to use the Product Buy Section element in the single product template – it shows the right buttons along with variations, and a working ATC button. But it may have too many extras if you just want the buttons.
I will look over it and see I can reproduce the issue – otherwise it’s hard to solve.

  2. Ignore me, I’m an idiot! I can’t reproduce it because I fixed it, but forgot to release the fix!
v3.0.4 now available. Global settings for button text, global buttons settings, and fixes for ‘context switching buttons’.
Hopefully that resolves it for you.
