Smithy Factory Elements adds a large bundle of premium Breakdance elements — advanced scrolling and background effects, tilt and gallery elements, a filterable table, a FAQ block with repeaters, a QR code generator, a 3D model viewer and more. Free elements from Smithy Factory Core are always enabled separately; this plugin is purely the premium add-on collection. As of v3.1.0 it no longer depends on Core to run — each Smithy Factory plugin installs and works independently, so you can run Elements with or without Core installed.

Requirements

Nothing fatals, but no elements, macros or presets appear until Breakdance is active.

No Smithy Factory Core dependency — Core was a required parent plugin before v3.1.0, but that dependency was removed and each Smithy Factory plugin is now fully independent. Install Elements on its own, alongside Core, or alongside any other Smithy Factory plugin; there’s no load order or activation sequence to worry about.

Install & activate

Install and activate the plugin the normal way — upload the zip via Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin, or drop the folder into wp-content/plugins and activate from the Plugins screen. There’s no setup wizard; once it’s active, a “Smithy Factory” menu item appears in the sidebar (shared with Smithy Factory Core and the other Smithy Factory plugins, if installed) with License and Pro Elements underneath.

The Pro Elements screen lists every premium element in the bundle — Backdrop, Carousel, Dotty Section, FAQ (Pro), Film Back (Start/End), Filterable Table, Fundraiser Gauge, Gooey Gallery, Momma Tilt (with Pane), Panel Gallery, Parameter Button, Play Misty, QR Coder, Scroll Back (Start/End), Scroll Classy, Scroll Morpher, Scroll Slider (with Slide), SF Breadcrumbs, Simple Post Filter, Sinuous Background, Slide Deeper, Text Spinner, Timeline and Model Viewer (3D) — each with its own on/off toggle plus Enable All / Disable All shortcuts. Everything is enabled by default.

Disabling an element here removes it from Breakdance’s element panel entirely, rather than just hiding it — so if a build only uses a handful of these, switching the rest off keeps the panel tidy. There’s also a “Factory Framework” toggle further down the page for the CSS variable context menu on Breakdance controls, off by default and unrelated to the elements themselves.
